Marion M. Martin, 83, died Friday, July 4, 2008 in Savannah.

Mrs. Martin was born in Norlina, NC on July 8, 1924, the daughter of the late David and Ora Moore. Marion was a longtime resident of Savannah. She was retired from Bernard Williams Insurance Co. Marion was a member of the First Baptist Church of the Islands and a former member of Southside Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her daughters, Carole Sanborn and Debbie Anderson. She is survived by her grandsons, Brett and Jesse Anderson; granddaughter, Corey Anderson; sisters, Marguerite Moore Davis and Shirley Moore Colson and sons-in-law, Henry Sanborn and Ronnie Anderson.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Tuesday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
